Wander around the village, there is so much to see and most people are surprised at how such an interesting area remains undiscovered.
Stroll from the pond, creek or river up narrow lanes that lead you to the centre of the village. Walk through the cider orchard and see the 1000 year old yew tree in the churchyard, saunter along Church Walk and have a drink outside The Church House Inn, taking in the atmosphere.

There are 3 shops in the village and a Sainsbury Super Market just 5 minutes away by car. Enjoy a glass of wine or beer and superb fresh food at the Rivershack on the quay. The 2 pubs offer real ale and excellent food, as do the bistro and hotel.

Torquay has Kents Cavern and a large model village among other attractions and there is a go kart track on the way to the delightful fishing port of Brixham.
